Bartering
- Portland Oregon Trade and Barter. "The Trade and Barter group for Portland and surrounding areas.
We do trades and barters for items or services. We will not list any deals with money being the barter. Feel you have nothing to offer here?
We feel you do. Can you bake, cook, clean, read to, drive, take messages, write, draw, gardening, mechanics, any trade or service or any other of a million things people do. Trade a service for an Item or another service Or an item for an item. I traded a breadmaker for a toaster oven.
If you post a service or Item be sure to include your trade or barter in the message. Otherwise it will not be accepted. Links will not be accepted unless they have something to do with trade and barter in our area.
We cannot emphasize enough that the transactions are between the parties taking part so beware and save some money in these times. If you run into a bad deal that was misrepresented to you or any dealings that shouldn't’t be here let the moderators know.
I know some trades that have happened here.
Yard work done for hair services Carpentry work done for items in trade Baking goods traded for useful household items and I bet many more things have occurred.
Come in and join it's free and maybe you'll get that something you need for something you don't."

- ORSIG--Oregon Homeschoolers. " This list exists to allow Oregon homeschoolers to discuss homeschooling and topics of interest to homeschoolers. This can and will encompass a wide variety of topics, some of which will interest individual members more than others. This list may also serve as a vehicle for you to organize or participate in homeschooling clubs, playgroups, tours, lectures, and other special events. ORSig is a high volume list but the diligent use of accurate subject lines allows for confident use of the delete key. Although many subscribers are from the Portland metro area, the list is for ALL Oregon homeschoolers.
This is a non-commercial list--if you have a product or service you think may be of value to the homeschooling community, a *brief*, one-time announcement may be appropriate but lengthy blatant advertisements are not. If in doubt, please contact the moderators before posting. Orsig members are welcome to submit their contact information to the database of homeschoolers' home businesses.
We strongly encourage you to share your learning experiences, and to ask a lot of questions. ORSig members determine the topics of conversation so, if there's something you want to discuss, please speak up."
